It's been another kick-in-the-gut-season ...Thank God this is it; one last jump into the pit of broken glass!

Florida (-9.5) vs. Alabama:

I hope the ghost of "The Bear" will forgive me. Speed verse the Irresistible Force; this game is either going to be a "blow-out" or the toughest example of trench warfare since World War I!

West Virginia (-7.0) vs. USF:

If Pat White puts on a show and the weather stays cold the Mountaineers could prevail.

Arizona (-10.5) vs. Arizona St.:

The "other" Stoops against yet, another, former "U" Coach. The teams are just about evenly matched ... Toss-up!

Bama is getting exposed this weekend.

UCLA +32 in the Rose Bowl vs Used Condoms

I am sure Pete will be throwing the pity party for USC. "Hey guys! We only have one loss too!"

The Nati at Hawaii OVER 49.5

With the beach, bikinis and a trip to Miami sown up, the Bearcats will be on vacation.

First, thanks for another great season. It's be an honor, gentlemen.
Slim pickings numerically for this, our final, week of the 2008 season. There is, however, no lack of drama, especially with numerous conference championships to be played and slots at the national championship game on the line.

So, let's reach into Scotty B's Grab Bag and see what we come up with this week.

Navy (-11) v. Army
Both teams *love* to run the ball, but Army hasn't been able to find the endzone frequently enough to win more than three games. Moreover, the Black Knights cannot seem to solve their problem at QB. Apparently, Army's coach is promising some surprises against Navy, but given that Navy has looked good against some big name opponents this year, the Midshipmen will hoist the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy again.

Ball State (-14.5) v. Buffalo
Just a few years ago, Buffalo was a denizen of everyone's Bottom 10. Now, thanks in large part to the superb play of QB Drew Willy, the Bulls are atop the MAC's East Division and no longer a punch line. However, the Ball State Cardinals are aiming at an unbeaten season (they now stand at 12-0), and they have a productive offense which averages 37 points a game and is led by their own stellar QB Nate Davis, who comes into this game with 3095 yards and 25 TDs.

Tulsa (-13.5) v. East Carolina
Hosting this year's Conference USA championship, Tulsa has one of the nation's most aggressive offenses--sixth in the nation in passing per game, seventh in rushing, and second in total yards per game--and one of highest scoring. At more than 49 points per game, in fact, the Golden Hurricanes are the nation's second highest scoring team. Tulsa's defense is not as stingy as it should be, but it should be enough to contain ECU's often inconsistent offense.

Sparty is making a last season push for respectability. Just for the heck of it, I'll toss it all away and pick 180 degrees opposite of The Prowler.

Alabama +9.5
USC -32
SinSinNati at Rainbow Coalition UNDER 49.5
