Week 4

Renegade is just running roughshod over the competition this season.  A sterling 8-1 mark to start the season has him checking expedia.com for flights to Vegas...

Don't look down on those Tigers...2-1 ATS this season

8-1 is impressive.
That a half-assed morning post.
Come strong or wait til later in the week when you can devote proper attitude to the piece.
I also need 2 tickets to WVA. Put the word out.
Dman.
PS U-DUB blows.

Picks

Ore. -10.5 v. ASU. Oregon is the
class of the Pac-10. I also really liked the Duck push-up piece they showed on ESPNU.
Oregon 47- ASU 20

LSU -5 v. WVa -If I really think the BEast is that bad, is there any way I don't make this pick? Of course, LSU's offense is more anemic that Kate Moss on Slimfast. The Mathieu Kid gives LSU 10 points on 5 safetys, and Jasper adds another 300 on FG's. WVA can't score, and people mistakenly begin to believe Miles knows how to spell.
LSU 19- WVa 7.

AND IF ITS NOT A TYPO, I like USC +24 v. Washington state.
Otherwise, I'll make pick 3 soon.

Week 4 and now we’re starting to see, with a few exceptions, more conference games. Speaking of exceptions the Keydets of Virginia Military Institute (VMI) go to Hooville to face UVA. Even though this is predicted to be a glorified scrimmage for UVA, with some local pundits predicting UVA handing out a 40 + point beat-down, one can hope for a respectable game. VMI, a school with an average enrollment hovering around a thousand, doesn’t focus on turning out pro-want-to-bee’s; their mission is to turn out citizen-soldiers and that is what they do. As the ghosts of “Stonewall” Jackson, George Patton and George Marshall look on I wish the “Squadron” the best of luck.

Virginia Tech (+2.0) v. BC:
An ACC v. ACC tilt at Chestnut Hill; it’ll be a tough nut to crack for VT. If VT is going to salvage this season it has to start here …Will it be Hokie or Chokie ???

Arizona (-4.5) v. Cal:
The Wildcats and Bears will both have their claws out for this one …PAC-10 credibility hangs in the balance for both teams.

South Carolina (+1.0) v. Auburn:
Even though Auburn beat Clemsux it was still a very physical game. Auburn has to be sore and tired. If the South Carolina team can avoid one of their periodic meltdowns, and Garcia doesn’t turn into a “Game-kook”, the OBC may have enough magic left to pull this one out.

Thanks, OMAC, for the good words about The Squadron.

This week, it's a short and sweet version of Scotty B's Big 12 Round-up.

Texas (-21) v. UCLA. The Bruins still don't seem to have "it" yet. The Longhorns most definitely do.

Oklahoma (-13) v. Cincinnati. The Sooners just bring too much to this game for a Cincy squad that has looked a little befuddled in the early days of the post-Kelly era.

Missouri (-18) v. Miami (OH). The Redbirds are respectable, but I doubt they can keep up the Tigers for all four quarters.
