Roche's Picks:

LSU -15 over Rocky Top
This won't be close. The defense really wants to win this one for the Chief. Tigers roll.

FSU -10.5 over Duke
If the Noles can't snap out of their funk against Duke it will be a long year. This game is just what they need right now.

OSU -5.5 over Texas
Texas isn't very good. They may be able to put up some points but they ain't stopping the Cowboys.

Omac's Week 7:

For one team a chance at redemption for the other two there's the need to keep the gas pedal to the metal.

South Florida (-7.0) v. UConn:

Skip and the Bulls have had over two weeks to rest and recover from an embarrassment at the hands of a Pitt team that looked all-world under the lights, but then did a half-gainer into a block of cement (aka: Rutgers "D") last week. Now, Skip is under the microscope - If USF can't regain respectability against an already abused UConn squad then the rest of their season looks grim.

Bama (-23.0) v. Ole Miss:

The titans of the SEC west (LSU & Bama) continue to win in a convincing manner as they head for their ultimate collision; neither can afford to play patty-cake with an opponent when the first week of BCS rankings looms. Coach Nutt-bag and Ole Piss have nothing to lose and will try and play the spoiler ... The Tide has to put Mississippi on the mat early and never let them up for air. Of course Coach Satan, in his usual style, "Will be out to punish all over you ...You're going find out what the Tide can do ...Punish, punish, punish" (LSU will need to open up a "can" against The Vols as well)!

Stanford (-20.0) v. Wazzu:

The Cardinal and their QB, Mr. Luck, find themselves ranked 7th in the nation, 5-0 (3-0 in Pac-12 play) and sitting atop the Pac-12 North ahead of 9th ranked Oregon. In order for Stanford to stock-up on BCS style points and hold the resurgent Ducks at arm's length, they have to absolutely bury Wazzu with beau coupé points and triple digit offensive production ... A blow out is needed.

When Spartan Brian is down by seven games halfway into the season, he has to resort to desperate measures. Similarly, when you are a huge home dog, you need to play all out with nothing to lose to salvage your pride....

U Tenn +17 1/2
U Texas +7
Colorado State +32
